Qu'êtes-vous devenu depuisdeux ans ?

J'Ai Si Peur essayé de reprendre une vie normale. J'ai eu beaucoup de sollicitations de toutes sortes. On m'a proposé de travailler pour des fonds de pension étrangers, de raconter mon histoire, de jouer mon propre rôle au cinéma. Ça ne me tentait pas du tout. J'ai accepté de travailler pour une société informatique. Je gagne un peu plus de 2 000 € par mois. Ce n'est pas un problème. Je n'ai jamais eu de train de vie délirant. Quand j'étais trader, je n'avais même pas de voiture. Le plus gros bonus que j'ai touché c'est 60 000 € et je l'ai donné à un membre de ma famille qui a des difficultés financières. Le rapport à l'argent, je m'en fous complètement.

Au déclenchement de « l'affaire », vous avez dû gérer un tsunami médiatique. Pas facile ?

La réaction des gens m'a rassuré, que ce soit dans la rue ou sur le Net, avec parfois l'expression d'un vieux sentiment anti-banque. Ils me disaient : « Tenez bon, on ne vous lâchera pas ». ACM Awards - “I’m not the country music police or anything. (laughs) But sometimes I want to be. You know, it’s story-songs. Real country music, to me, is fiddles and steel guitars. That doesn’t mean that all good music has fiddles and steel guitars, but that’s what it is to me. …

“I’m not saying that music has to be traditional country to be good. I’m just saying that I do know what it is, and I do appreciate it, I love it, I have a passion for it, I have a passion to carry it on. It’s just too hard to try to define for everyone else what it is. … “There’s a place in the world for any good music; that’s for sure. …

“It’s American, and it’s something that we can lay claim to artistically. And I think it’s important that somebody carries those traditions on.”

“Country music is music about what people live through in everyday life. To me, it’s stories about life … and songs about people who tell these stories. Keluarga Korban Minta Penyebar Foto Bugil Ditangkap

Foto Bugil Mahasiswi Binus Keluarga korban penyebaran foto bugil melalui jejaring pertemanan Facebook meminta, agar pelakunya segera ditangkap. Penyebaran foto tanpa busana Clara Adelin Supit alias Devi 23, mahasiswi, menurut polisi, diduga dilakukan oleh Jos, mantan pacar Mis, yang tidak lain teman korban sendiri.

Di temui di rumahnya di kawasan Ciparigi, Kecamatan Bogor Utara Kota Bogor, ibu korban yang enggan di sebut namanya ini menuturkan, siap berdamai jika pelaku mengaku perbuatannya. Mengenai dugaan penyebar yang dilakukan teman dekatnya sejak kecil Jos, pihak keluarga tidak mau menuduhnya,

“Dugaan sementara ya dia, tapi kalau hukum itu perlu bukti dan keterangan diatas BAP,” katan ibu Devi Senin (13/4) pagi.

Ibu korban menambahkan, selain berteman sejak kecil, Jos kuliah di satu perguruan tinggi swasta jurusan parawisata. “Saat ini belum ada pengakuan dari dia namun kami siap memaafkannya,” katanya.

Kasat Reskrim Polresta Bogor, AKP Irwansyah saat dikonfirmasi mengatakan, pihaknya pada Selasa (14/4) besok akan melakukan pemeriksaan atas korban sendiri, Mis dan Jos. Pihaknya menurut Irwansyah, belum pada tahap penetapan tersangka, mengingat proses pemeriksaan atas Jos, baru dilakukan besok.

Dalam gambar FC, nampak korban yang juga memiliki pekerjaan lain sebagai chear leader ini, terlihat tanpa busana. Sedikitnya ada empat foto korban yang menghadap kedepan dan sisanya diambil dari samping.

Seperti diberitakan harian ini sebelumnya, akibat perbuatan rekannya, korban merasa diri dan keluarganya sangat terhina. Untuk itu, ia meminta pihak kepolisian untuk menangkap pelaku dan memberinya hukuman.

Pengambilan gambar Devi tanpa busana dengan memakai HP ini dilakukan disebuah kamar kost di Kebon Jeruk Jakarta . Devi mau di foto bugil atas rayuan temannya MS, 23, warga Citeureup Bogor.

Kepada korban, Mis mengatakan, mantan cowoknya Jos, 26, warga Tangerang mengidap penyakit guna-guna. Jos menurut Mis dapat sembuh jika melihat foto bugil cewek cantik.

Rayuan demi rayuan dengan nada belas kasihan, membuat korban yang juga seorang Cher Leader ini mau untuk di foto bugil. Kepada Mis, temannya, ia meminta, agar foto telanjang dirinya hanya diperlihatkan pada mantan kekasihnya dan bukan untuk di konsumsi publik.

Usai adegan foto syur, korban menerima sejumlah uang dari Mis rekannya.

“Saya melapor karena merasa dirugikan nama baik dan terhina martabat keluarga. Saya tahu pertama foto syur diri sendiri dari teman tanggal 6/4 lalu. Melihat jelas dan pasti, saya lalu lapor polisi,” kata Devi.

Mis, teman korban juga sudah dimintai keterangan oleh petugas di RS Azra Bogor saat usai melahirkan anaknya Sabtu (10/4). Mis mengakui semua gambar tersebut adalah gambar Devi yang di potret dirinya dengan HP di kamar kostnya di Kebon Jeruk.

“Usai saya foto Devi, semua gambarnya saya kasih ke mantan pacar saya Jos. Saya juga wanti-wanti agar tidak disebarkan ke jejaring social. Eh tahunya sekarang sudah menyebar,” kata seorang petugas mengutip pengakuan Mis saat dikonfirmasi wartawan Sabtu siang.

Cameron yakin studio-studio film berlomba-lomba mengambil keuntungan dari meningkatnya minat masyarakat menonton film-film 3-D.

Beberapa kalangan menaksir biaya konversi paling kecil lima juta dolar (AS) per film.

Woods recorded only one bogey all day, coming after he pulled his tee shot well left at the long par-3 fourth hole.

Tiger Woods - Scoring conditions were tougher in general during the second round, as Augusta National officials went with a more challenging setup. Tees were back in their usual positions after several were moved up yesterday in anticipation of potential bad weather. It never materialized, with Woods among 16 players to break 70.

Today, though, only three players were better than 2-under on their rounds at the time Woods completed his round.

Woods reached the Masters midpoint at 6-under 138 – his third-best 36-hole total in 16 Masters starts. Poulter was the early clubhouse leader with his second consecutive 68, with Westwood taking the lead at nine under for a brief period before settling for a three-under 69.

Bantuan untuk Korban Gempa

Pemerintah Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam menyalurkan bantuan dana dan logistik kepada korban Gempa Aceh di sejumlah kecamatan di Kabupaten Simeulue. Bantuan berupa uang tunai senilai Rp 100 juta dan logistik itu diserahkan langsung Wakil Gubernur Muhammad Nazar, dan diterima oleh Sekretaris Daerah Simeulue M Rizwan di Sinabang, Rabu (7/4/2010) sore.

"Ini merupakan bantuan masa panik dan diharapkan bisa bermanfaat bagi operasional sehari-hari bagi keluarga korban gempa," kata Wagub. Selain uang tunai, Nazar juga menyerahkan secara simbolis bantuan masa panik, antara lain beras, gula pasir, mi instan, minyak goreng, dan tenda kepada korban gempa.

Gempa bumi berkekuatan 7,2 skala Richter mengguncang wilayah Simeulue sekitar pukul 05.15 dini hari tadi. Gempa juga dirasakan kuat oleh masyarakat di sejumlah wilayah di Aceh, seperti Kota Banda Aceh, Lhokseumawe, Langsa, dan Aceh Besar. Simeulue merupakan salah satu kabupaten kepulauan dan berjarak sekitar 110 mil laut dari pesisir barat (Aceh Barat) Provinsi Aceh.

Selain bantuan pemerintah, masyarakat korban gempa Simeulue juga memperolah bantuan sembilan bahan pokok dari PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Aceh. Bantuan dana operasional dan logistik itu lebih diutamakan bagi masyarakat di tiga kecamatan yang mengalami kerusakan terparah akibat bencana alam terbesar setelah tsunami 26 Desember 2004 itu.

Pemerintah Aceh dan Pemkab Simeulue juga telah membangun posko gempa di delapan kecamatan untuk kelancaran distribusi bantuan kepada korban gempa. Posko tersebut dibangun atas kerja sama aparat TNI dan Polri serta relawan kemanusiaan guna menangani masalah yang dihadapi para korban gempa di Simeulue.

Sejauh ini, tercatat korban luka akibat gempa sebanyak 12 orang, dengan empat di antaranya cedera berat. Mereka masih dirawat di rumah sakit lapangan di depan RSUD Sinabang. Di Desa Ulee Manyang, tercatat tujuh kepala keluarga (KK) terpaksa mengungsi di kantor desa karena rumah mereka rusak berat.

Wagub Muhammad Nazar menyatakan, situasi di Simeulue sudah berangsur normal dan kegiatan sehari-hari masyarakat telah kembali pulih pascagempa tersebut.

Niqqita menyatakan, untuk kegiatan yang berlangsung sejak 29 Maret lalu hingga kemarin itu, peserta internasional membayar hingga US$ 600 (sekitar Rp 6 juta). Adapun untuk peserta lokal jauh lebih murah. "Saya hanya membayar Rp 2 juta," kata Agus Januraka, salah satu peserta asal Bali.

Ya, di mata para pengikutnya, sosok Sri Sri memang seperti nabi. Setidaknya ajarannya telah mampu mempengaruhi sebagian dunia, termasuk Indonesia.

Lahir dengan nama Shankar Ratnam pada 13 Mei 1956 di Papanasam, Tamil Nadu, India, ayahnya, Venkat Ratnam, yang ahli jyotisha (astronomi dan astrologi), melihat Sri Sri lahir saat empat planet berposisi segaris. Ramalan sang ayah, Sri Sri lahir untuk menggerakkan waktu ketimbang hidup mengikuti perputaran waktu.

Sejak balita, Sri Sri telah gemar meditasi. Pada usia 4 tahun, ia sudah menguasai dan mampu melantunkan Bhagawatgita atau petuah Sri Kresna kepada Arjuna sebelum perang Mahabharata yang dituangkan dalam bentuk syair.

Pada usia 8 tahun, dia belajar dari pandita Sudhakar Chaturvedi, salah satu cucu Mahatma Gandhi. Saat berusia 17 tahun, Sri Sri menamatkan pendidikan Weda dalam bahasa Sanskerta sekaligus menjadi sarjana fisika. Ceramah tentang Weda dibungkusnya dalam kemasan ilmiah.

Dua tahun kemudian, Sri Sri menjadi murid guru meditasi transendental Maharishi Mahesyogi, yang juga guru spiritual grup band legendaris The Beatles. Di situlah ia belajar melayani orang miskin dan menguasai meditasi.

Kegelisahannya atas kondisi dunia membuat Sri Sri bermeditasi secara mendalam selama 10 hari. Meditasi di Shimoga, Karnataka, India Selatan, pada 1982 itu melahirkan teknik olah pernapasan Sudharsan Kriya. Secara filosofis, teknik ini menghubungkan manusia dengan ciptaan lain di jagat raya. Kini jutaan orang mempraktekkan teknik ini.

Tak berhenti di pernapasan, Sri Sri mengajarkan pelayanan, penghiburan, dan kasih. Kegiatan kemanusiaan pun digiatkannya. Tahun yang sama, ia mendirikan Yayasan Art of Living, yang berpusat di Bangalore, India. Yayasan ini kini tersebar di lebih dari 140 negara. Programnya difokuskan pada pembangunan dan pendidikan diri serta menghilangkan stres.

Di Eropa dan Amerika, yayasan ini membantu kaum muda dari kekerasan geng, narkoba, dan alkohol. Dalam situs The Art of Living disebutkan, ajaran Sri Sri telah mempengaruhi lebih dari 300 juta orang di seluruh dunia.

Agus Januraka menyatakan ia sangat beruntung karena makin mantap untuk menekuni jalan spiritual yang diajarkan Guru Ji. "Di sini kita diminta untuk menjadi lebih peka kepada sesama dan lingkungan kita, sama seperti dulu jadi aktivis," ujarnya.

Menurut mantan pengurus Partai Rakyat Demokratik Bali itu, kepedulian tersebut ia terapkan dalam pekerjaannya sebagai pemandu wisata. Agus menjadi lebih peduli kepada orang-orang yang menggunakan jasanya dan tak sekadar untuk mencari uang. "Saya juga mengajak mereka untuk lebih peduli kepada lingkungan dan cara hidup yang sehat," katanya.

Bergenre drama musikal, film ini merampungkan skenarionya Februari tahun lalu dan "casting" para pemerannya April tahun lalu juga, 2009. Risetnya tergolong serius, empat tahun! Sejak 2006.

Rhoma tidak ingin main-main dalam film perdananya setelah bertahun-tahun absen dari layar lebar. Dia menjamin ada muatan moral dalam film yang dikerjakan rumah produksi RK 23 ini.

"Film dan musik harus memesankan kehidupan bermasyarakat yang bermoral dan berakhlakul karimah," katanya di hari pertama syuting "Dawai Dua Asmara" di Mediterania Golf Cluster, Sentul, Bogor.

Rencananya, pengambilan gambar untuk film ini akan menghabiskan waktu 24 hari, dengan seting tempat sekitar Jakarta saja. Sayang, tak ada yang berbicara mengenai berapa dana akan dikeluarkan untuk film musikal dangdut ini.

Di film ini, Bang Haji akan beradu akting dengan anak kandungnya sendiri, Ridho Rhoma.

Bang Haji mengaku tidak memiliki cukup persiapan untuk menghayati peran dalam film ini karena di "Dawai Dua Asamara" ini dia memang memerankan dirinya sendiri.

"Tak seperti tokoh fiktif Rhoma yang sering terlihat di media TV. Saya berbicara, berjalan dan bergaya seperti Rhoma. tidak ada yang diubah," katanya memberi alasan.

Ada kejutan-kejutan kecil di film ini, salah satunya rilis lagu-lagu dangdut terbaru baik dari Bang Haji, maupun dari sang anak tersayang Ridho Rhoma.

"Persiapan kami matang, didukung kru film, pemain dan sutradara yang profesional dan pengalaman, sehingga film ini akan mampu bersaing dengan film lainnya," kata Erna.

AntaraNews bertanya, mengapa harus dangdut? Erna menjawab, dangdut adalah lagu asli Indonesia, "Bisa dibilang ikon Indonesia."

Lalu, mengapa membawa-bawa nama Rhoma?

"Jika Anda mengangkat tema dangdut, maka Anda tidak akan melepaskan ikon Sang Raja Dangdut sendiri, Rhoma Irama," tukasnya.

Dua melanjutkan, "Ada seorang mahasiswa Australia yang telah melakukan riset dangdut dan kesimpulan penelitiannya 'jika kamu mau tahu Indonesia maka dangdut adalah jawabannya."

Mungkin untuk alasan ini, film itu menghadirkan sosok remaja Australia itu, dan diperankan juga dari orang asli Australia, namanya Emily Graham. Emily iberasal dari Queensland, Australia dan mengidolakan Blake Lively.

"Ini sebuah tantangan tersendiri karena saya yang berumur 14 harus memerankan mahasiswi berusia 18 yang jauh di atas saya. Ini film pertama saya dan saya tidak akan menyianyiakannya," kata Emily.

Sementara Cathy Sharon berhasrat menumpahkan fokusnya untuk bermain total dalam film ini.

"Setiap pagi saya latighan 'ice skating' di salah satu mal di Jakarta," katanya.

Salah satu adegan dalam film itu memang akan menampilkan Cathy dan Ridho bermain 'ice skating' bareng.

Dan Rhoma pun berharap, "Semoga film ini menyuguhkan tontonan yang penuh hiburan, yang asyik tetapi tidak macam-macam." Buktinya? Tunggu September nanti

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro - The Sony Ericsson X10 will be available from the 6th of April according to Vodafone which issued a press statement on the matter yesterday; in the meantime, those looking to buy the Android smartphone can already do so and expect a delivery next week.

The X10 will be available for free on £35 per month tariffs with 900 minutes, unlimited texts and landline calls as well as 500MB of mobile internet and webmail. An additional £5 adds 300 extra minutes; note that both deals are online only.

The phone comes with an old version of Android (v1.6 rather than v2.1) and is preloaded with Vodafone's 360 Apps for MyWeb and Vodafone Music. It has a 4-inch touchscreen and the highest screen resolution we've seen on an Android smartphone to date.

Sony has also thrown in an 8-megapixel camera, the highest pixel count we've seen on an Android, WiFI, HSDPA, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and the timescape/mediascape features complete with a custom made user interface.

Panasonic Awards 2010 - Suami Donna Agnesia, Darius Sinathrya, memperoleh penghargaan Panasonic Gobel Awards 2010 untuk kategori Presenter Olah Raga Terfavorit. Piala yang didapat Darius, Jumat (26/3/2010) malam, menjadi yang keempat kalinya.

"Ini piala keempat berturut-turut, luar biasa dan terima kasih sekali," ujarnya ketika ditemui di sela-sela acara Panasonic Gobel Awards 2010 di Djakarta Theatre, Jakarta Pusat, Jumat (26/3/201) malam.

Darius awalnya tidak berharap banyak akan mendapat penghargaan tahun ini. Darius pesimis karena ia tak percaya pemenang Panasonic Awards selama tiga tahun berturut-turut akan kembali meraihnya.

Namun prediksinya meleset. Mayoritas pemilih masih menyukai sosok Darius sebagai presenter acara olah raga.

Penghargaan tersebut ia persembahkan untuk keluarganya, terutam Donna, yang juga masuk daftar nominasi. Peran Donna memang signifikan bagi karier Darius.

Mendapat empat penghargaan dan laris di mana-mana tidak membuat Darius puas. Ia merasa kalau kariernya masih bisa terus meningkat.

The HP Nokia Terbaru N97 mobile phone is a compact phone with a slide out full QWERTY keyboard and a huge 3.5" touch screen with tilt. I would mostly use this as a personal phone to get all my emails, surf the web, take pictures and videos and of course store them in the huge 32 GB storage space.

The N97 is unlocked so you can use any SIM card and it even has WiFi built-in. Email setup is a walk in the park also (type in your email address and password and it will do the rest for you). There is also a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and a video camera with video light. So I tested it for about two weeks and these are my results.


LOOK, FEEL AND BUILD
The N97 is a compact tilt slider mobile phone with a huge 3.5" touch screen. It is slightly larger than the E75 but we really can't compare it to that because it is not of the same class. It's a little on the heavy side but it is also thin and solid built. Nokia phones have always been well built and can take lots of beating before they even hiccup. The slider feels solid and the tilt is a nice touch because it feels natural unlike the E75. The huge touch screen responds to your taps and slides very well and watching videos on that baby is very good. Since it is a touch screen device, there are no keys on the front panel itself besides the Menu, Send and End. The dial pad is virtual and you also get a virtual alphabet keypad too if you prefer. I personally like the slid out keyboard better.

The camera button on the lower right hand side is placed well and the volume control buttons are on the top right side (these come in handy quiet often). When you rotate the phone horizontally to take a picture these buttons act as the zoom for it. The camera button works as the shutter. Makes sense! The 3.5 inch display has 640 x 360 pixels resolution and 16 million colors. On the left you have the microUSB port the screen lock slider button and the speaker phone holes on the top and bottom. The power button is on the top left and the 3.5mm headset jack is in the middle (also on the top). It measures 4.61 x 2.18 x 0.63 inches in dimensions and weighs 5.29 ounces. There is also a little stylus that is the size of a USB drive but you would be better off using your fingers instead (if there was a hidden slot for it on the phone itself then that would have been a different situation).

Opick Biayai Sendiri Film

Film Indonesia Terbaru - Opick tertipu investor dan berurusan dengan hukum saat hendak menggarap film Asmaul Husna. Film tersebut batal diproduksi. Kini, Opick membiayai sendiri film berjudul Di Bawah Langit.

Di Film Terbaru yang akan tayang pada 18 Maret itu, penyanyi religi ini bertindak sebagai sutradara, produser, ide cerita, scoring musik dan sekaligus pemeran utama. Opick memilih menggarap sendiri film perdananya itu karena belajar dari pengalaman lalu.

"Sebenarnya ada yang mau investasi, tapi saya ingin biaya sendiri. Saya pikir saya cukup bisa mengerjakan sendiri untuk meminimalisir kejadian kemarin. Saya enggak ada trauma, saya cuma jadikan ini pelajaran," terang Opick di Studio RCTI, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Barat, Senin (15/3/2010).

Opick enggan menguak berapa nominal yang dihabiskan untuk memproduksi film tersebut. "Standar di atas m (miliar) lah. Kalau kemarin itu (film Asmaul Husna) bisa mencapai Rp25 miliar, film ini tidak sampai segitu," katanya.

Kasus film Asmaul Husna yang semula akan disutradarai Hanung Bramantyo itu berimbas terhadap imej Opick. Menurut penyanyi Tombo Ati itu, kini tak sedikit yang memandang sebelah mata kepadanya.

"Khususnya kalau menyanyi, mereka agak mikir kalau mau mengajak saya. Di internet pun dicaci-maki. Karena kejadian kemarin, semua ustad kena sasaran dan dimaki-maki. Tapi saya enggak pernah pesimistis selama Allah bersama saya," ujarnya.

Sekarang, dengan membuat film sendiri tanpa bantuan orang lain, Opick lebih puas. Dia bisa berhemat.

"Dengan tidak melibatkan orang lain, pengeluaran bisa kecil tapi film tetap utuh. Untuk film berikutnya, ada orang luar yang investasi. Mereka pandai berhitung. Cara manajerialnya juga bagus," tandasnya.

Valentine's Day - There is nothing as special or personal as a homemade Valentine's Day card. Surprise your friends and family with your handmade creations. Here are some ideas to get you started. The link at the end of the article shows photographs of the finished cards.

Materials:

Romantic Valentine's Day Nights - Four blank greeting cards (available at craft stores), dark red piece of scrap booking paper, white piece of card stock, cream colored piece of card stock, red and white gingham piece of scrap booking paper, paper cutter, scissors, glue stick, computer, printer, sewing machine.

Card #1

For this card you will need a dark red piece of scrap booking paper, a red and white gingham piece of scrap booking paper (or other coordinating piece of paper), and a piece of white card stock. Cut a piece of the dark red paper to fit the front of the greeting card and glue it in place. The dark red is the background of the card. Cut two strips of the gingham paper, approximately an inch and a half wide. Cut them to the width of the card (this card will open horizontally). Tear a freehand heart from the gingham paper, large enough to fill up approximately three quarters of the entire card. Next glue the strips of gingham paper to the front of the card with space in between them. The idea is that there is a "strip" of gingham, a strip of red, a strip of gingham, and then a strip of red. Use your sewing machine to stitch* along the edges of the strips of gingham paper, and then stitch around the edge of the card. Glue the heart in the middle of the card. Type "Happy Valentine's Day" on your computer and print out on white card stock. Cut out the phrase (narrow strip) and glue to the center of the heart.

* Stitching tips: If you have never used your sewing machine to make cards, it is easy! Just sew on the paper like you would on fabric. You might want to reserve a needle just for paper so you don't dull the needle for your fabric projects. There are two ways you can include stitching in your card making projects. You can either stitch directly on the card, or you can stitch on a separate piece of paper and then glue that piece to the card (then the stitching won't show through the card).

Card #2:

This Valentine's Day card is quick and easy. Cut a piece of dark red paper to fit the front of your blank card and glue it in place. Type "Happy Valentine's Day" on your computer and print it on the cream colored paper. Mat the cut-out phrase first on a dark red piece of paper, and then mat that piece on another piece of cream colored cards tock to create a layered look. This card will open horizontally, so turn it in that direction and glue the Valentine's sentiment to the top third of the card. For the bottom portion of the card cut three small freehand hearts from the dark red paper. Glue these hearts to three torn scraps (in the shapes of squares) of cream colored paper. Space these pieces across the bottom of the card and glue in place. Stitch around the outside of the card and around the "Happy Valentine's Day" if you wish, but it isn't necessary.

Card #3:

This card is made from a dark red piece of paper and a cream colored piece of paper. Cut a piece of the dark red paper to fit the front of your blank card and glue it in place. Cut a large square from the cream colored paper and glue it just above the center of the card. Glue the piece of paper in place. Tear a large heart from the dark red paper and glue it in the center of the cream colored square. Type "Happy Valentine's Day" on your computer. Print on cream colored paper and glue in the center of the heart. Stitch around the cream colored square and the edge of the card, if you wish.

Card #4:

This card is made from a dark red piece of paper, the gingham paper, and white card stock. This card will open horizontally. Cut a piece of the dark red paper to fit the front of your pre-made card and glue it in place. Cut two strips of gingham paper and glue them to the top and bottom of the card so that there is a red strip in between. Cut three freehand hearts from the gingham paper and space them out in the red portion of the card. Glue them in place. Type "Happy Valentine's Day" on your computer and print on white paper. Cut out into a narrow strip (narrower than hearts) and glue in the center of the card on top of the hearts.

Notes: - The terms "card stock" and "paper" are used inter changebly here, but it is up to you which kind of paper you use, depending on the look you are trying to achieve - A sewing machine isn't necessary for this project, it is just a nice added touch - You don't have to use your computer for this project, you can hand write the words if you wish.

13. Depending on your budget, you might want to consider renting pedestals of two different heights. On the taller pedestal, place a large candle lantern. On the smaller one place a beautiful potted fern. Take some of your garland or live ivy and drape it around the pedestals from the top leading around the sides. Usually one or two strands are more than enough. In this case, less is more.

14. Be sure that whatever types of potted plant you choose you use it all throughout your room. You want to create a look of uniformity within the space. If you place different "types" of plants on pedestals, you run the risk of causing the eye to stop at each pedestal instead of viewing the decorating scheme as a whole.

15. Just before your guests are scheduled to arrive, light the candles. If you use scented candles, then before long the room will be filled with a beautiful fragrance.
